The motor is quiet compared to a different brand I was previously using. The set up was easy, and the z-wave functions work great. So far the battery holds a charge well, even with daily use. The only downside is the favored position is not a parameter in z-wave but I can use a time automation as a workaround to get the shade to the same spot.
